Tombscape

surprisingly good for it's genre, you really get the tomb exploration feeling :P

very nice graphics, good puzzles and a fitting sounddtrack on top of an awesomely done theme make this an enjoyable 10/15 minutes.

-SPOILER ALERT-

And now for the critisim part:
The note you found at the end was really well done, awesome idea. It had me wondering what kind of infernal creature could be lurking in the tombs below. The bossbattle was well done, though i'd at least expected some kind of ancient creature instead of just a big spider. Also, it would be nice if the boss had multiple stages, and not just do the same thing. I did like the little addition of you only being able to damage it at a specific point for a short time, cancelling out the brainless "fire at will" type boss.

After the boss however, i was quite dissapointed by the ending.
There was plenty of opportunity for a cool "Let's get the f*ck out of here, NOW" scene. You should definately put that in.

Also, the game was relatively short. I'd really enjoyed it if you made more areas like the first one with the swinging axes. More boobytraps in the next version!
And I think you should make more of these "bosses" besides the spider, giving you different directions to go to for some variations and facing multiple bosses at the end of each tunnel.

Finally, the inventory. It was nicely done, but it seemed a bit of a detour to open the bag with the mouse, selecting the shovel with the mouse, shoveling dirt with the mouse, reopening the bag with the mouse, putting the shovel back... well, you catch my drift. Hotkeys would be nice.
Also, more -useful- items are always a plus. It could really be a nice addition to find some keystone-translation thingey or something, and remembering you have it and need it to solve a puzzle 10 rooms later.

Overall an exellent game, congrats.

Chaos Faction

This fighting game greatly outclasses anything else of the sort on this site.

The intro is amazing, the lay-out is very nice, the action is outstanding, the weapons are awesome, the difficulty is brutal and the unlocking system is satisfyingly rewarding. The character customisation is ingenious and a lot of fun, and best of all: the music fits the action perfectly.

Let's just be fair, it IS a cheap copy....but well done nonetheless....

not quite as addicting as SC GM Dx, but very well done.
I like the funny guitars, blow up doll, how do you come up with it xD

My major points for improving:
It lacks an announcer; maybe one that yells YEEHA or something?
The multiplier drops straight down to scratch....

This can be a really good game, you should definately put some more songs in in though...

The gameplay is well done, not much to complain, just some minor irritation
with the sprite boundaries, i sometimes have a lot of trouble telling if im
going to hit the thing im flying at or not.

Which brings me to the graphics, they basically look good. The 3d like thing
you got going on is a nice change, more submissions should do things like
that.
But I cant help but notice they only SEEM 3d, they are just 2d sprites in a
semi-3d game. Thats a pity, it should be your first priority for improvement
in my opinion.

Then the levels, they are rather repetitive, i'd suggest each level should have it's own distinctive theme, not just an area that features 3 times the same level, and then gives you a new theme. For example, the second level should be the middle of the forest, a bit darker and more treelike obstacles, and level 3 should be the forest edge alongside the cliff. Same area, other theme. Then you move to the fairyland thingey and get diffrent themes there too.

Also, some enemies would be a good addition, not just some odd thing that flashes over the screen, not hitting me and making me wonder if it was an enemy? Perhaps even ones that shoot at you in later levels.

The music is well chosen, but it would be nice to hear something different
each level, maybe something that suits the themes?

That's all i can think of, overall great job! Can't wait for the next version!

and you called that easy mode? :P phew... this really keeps me on edge...

this is, besides a great game, an excellent reaction training, coördination training, and-probably-a-lot-more-training :) useful and fun :D

the graphics are ok and i really like the music, and obviously i liked the gameplay, and the rating at the end of the round is a nice extra. so you get 9/10 from me.

The music really adds, but it could use some additional sound effects and maybe some more explosions and/or other eyecandy
(perhaps a fighter airplane dropping the bombs, which wouldnt change the gameplay, but it sure would look nice...)

It's just to simple..
sure, the idea is nice, the graphics are good and the audio is fine, but some games could do well with a bit of added complicated-ness. This is without a doubt one of those games.

but also very frustrating...

not recommended to the faint or heart or the suicidal.

But the game itself is nicely done and nicely thought of.
Level 17 REALLY pisses me off, which probably is supposed to happen :P

there is a small thing i'd like you to fix though: The physics for the green bouncy blocks are really messed up, the ball tends to land on top of one and curve around it to fall straight down... especially noticable in lvl 12

besides that; smoothly done!
